Meet the team - the Vets

We have a fantastic team here at Inshes Veterinary Centre and we pride ourselves on offering a friendly and compassionate service.

                   

Jamie Shearer - Clinical Director         
Veterinary Surgeon
 

Jamie joined Inshes Vets in May 2015. He graduated from Glasgow Vet School and then worked in a mixed practice in Knaresborough in North Yorkshire for two and a half years. Jamie also did locum work in Australia for a year before returning to UK where he went to Birmingham to work in the PDSA Animal Hospital. He now lives in Inverness.

Veterinary Surgeon 

Eilidh comes from Perth and studied at Glasgow Vet School, graduating in 2002.Her first post was in North East England, where she worked for five years before moving up to Inverness. When not working she enjoys hill walking with her two dogs and has recently taken up fiddling.

 

 

Lynda Gillies

Lynda Gillies
Veterinary Surgeon
Lynda comes from Edinburgh. She graduated BSc from Edinburgh University in 1995 and went on to complete her veterinary degree at Edinburgh Vet School. A keen hill walker, Lynda enjoys fitness activities, particularly cycling and swimming.

 

 

 

Louise Jolliffe
Veterinary Surgeon

Louise graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2002. Since then Louise has worked in both mixed and equine practice in the Midlands and in the Highlands before joining Inshes Vets in April 2014. Louise loves keeping active in her spare time and enjoys walking her 3 dogs, Stella the Staffie and two terriers Betty and Marni.

 

 

 

Nina Torrance
Veterinary Surgeon

Nina graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1992 and started locumming with Inshes in 2009. She now works part time. Nina has a dog Tess, cat Puss, four chickens and occasionally has pigs. She is an expert knitter and also sings in a choir.

 

 

 

 

 

Becky Race
Veterinary Surgeon

Becky joined Inshes Vets in 2015 having previously enjoyed working as a locum for the practice.  She graduated from Edinburgh in 1995 and since then has worked in mixed and small animal practice, mostly in the North of Scotland.  In her spare tiem she enjoys kayaking, skiing and other outdoor activities in this great part of Scotland.
