Vets recently celebrated its 20th Anniversary and to mark the occasion
we held a series of open evenings during October to allow clients
and non clients to see what goes on behind the scenes and to help
raise money for the SSPCA. Tours were given throughout the premises
to demonstrate the wide range of equipment used in our labs and
theatres, including our new digital xray system. We showed the care
and attention given to each pet from all of our staff and the comfortable
kennels, cattery and isolation ward provided for animals recovering
from treatment. The SSPCA were present on all three nights to raise
awareness of the work they do and just over £100 was raised
on their behalf.
The charities Pets As Therapy, Search and Rescue Dogs Association and Guide Dogs for the Blind, each came along to give information on the work they do. |
